Sánchez proposes Isabel Celaá as ambassador to the Vatican



The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, wants the former Minister of Education, Isabel Celaá, as the new ambassador of Spain to the Vatican, as confirmed by government sources to ABC.

The one who was also a Basque councilor has always been a person close to the president, in addition to practicing catholic.

Moncloa has already asked the Holy See for diplomatic approval for the Government’s export voice, so if she accepts it, she would be appointed by the Council of Ministers.
