The First Vice President of the Government, Nadia Calviño, has announced that the Council of Ministers will approve this Friday the law of ‘startup‘with the aim of “attracting talent and investment”.
During her speech this Thursday in the ‘Public Mirror’ program, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation specified that the new regulations were born to support “fast-growing, technology-based companies”.
The law “will put Spain at the forefront in the creation of these companies“and it arises” at a time when there are more and more digital nomads, entrepreneurs and investors who can work from anywhere in the world, “according to Calviño.
The regulations are framed within the Executive initiatives to promote business growth; On November 30, it already approved the “create and grow” law and plans to have the reform of the bankruptcy law ready.
Asked about the support of Ecofin to chair the International Monetary and Financial Committee, the main advisory body of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the minister has considered that it is a “recognition” of the effort made by Spain in economic policy during the last years.
