LG UltraGear 17G90Q: LG’s first gaming laptop is a hardware display

LG has just made what it considers its first laptop official in the United States gaming. It is a proposal with the 11th generation Inter Tiger Lake H, a processor accompanied by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q. He’s a potential beast, with interesting specifications.

These include a panel that updates with a 300Hz update rate, steam chamber cooling system and a very neat sound system. These are the specifications and technical characteristics of the new laptop for gamers of LG.

Bet on the power to play

LG’s new proposal bets on a latest generation Intel Tiger Lake H, along with a graphics card NVIDIA GeForceTM RTX 3080 Max-Q, one of the key elements in this gaming-oriented notebook and the fastest the company has to offer for notebooks.

This configuration accompanied by up to 1 TB of internal storage and 32 GB of RAM, powered by a 93Wh battery, on which they have not given specific data about the duration or load of the same.

The panel is 17-inch IPS, with Full HD resolution and 300Hz refresh rate, keyboard is RGB and it has a fingerprint reader on the power button. The laptop case is made of aluminum, with a total weight of more than 2.60 kilos.

As for the ports, has both two Type-C ports (one of them USB 4) and two USB A ports, the ethernet, HDMI, headphone jack and microSD card slot, in addition to the charging input.

Finally, we can highlight the work that LG promises to have done with the audio, compatible with DTS: X Ultra and with two speakers that transmit directionality in games dynamically.
