The US fund Marathon invests 3% in Fluidra, valued at 100 million


Marathon Asset Management, a US fund, has raised a 3% stake in Fluidra, a listed Spanish company dedicated to the manufacture of components for swimming pools. The stake is worth around 100 million euros at current market prices.

As announced to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Marathon has exceeded the 3% threshold in the Spanish multinational, after which investors are required to inform the market.

In addition to this operation, recently blackrock, one of the largest managers in the world, reached 6% of the capital and the Puig family increased its stake from 5% to ​​7%, becoming part of the board of directors, where it will be present for the first time.

Likewise, the four founding families of Fluidra remain in the capital and hold close to 28%. Next is the Rhône Capital fund, which retains 11%. The Godia family also has 5% of Fluidra.

Fluidra dividend schedule

At the beginning of the week, Fluidra announced the dates for the payment of the dividend, which will take place in Two payments different, the first of them, the next July 5, worth 0.35 euros per share, while the second payment will take place on December 5, with a value of 0.35 euros per share.

Also, the last trading day of Fluidra shares entitled to receive a dividend is the June 30th. Thus, the date from which the company’s shares will be traded without the right to receive the dividend (ex date) will be July 3.

Finally, the date on which the registered holders with the right to receive a dividend will be determined will be July 4, 2023.
